Mr. Stephen Alvania retired from the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) after more than 34 years of government service supporting the U.S. Air Traffic Control (ATC) system as an air traffic controller, program engineer, and manager. In addition, Mr. Alvania served as the professional staff member for aviation on the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Science, Space, and Technology.
Mr. Stephen Alvania founded Air Traffic Systems Consulting, LLC to provide on-site ATC seminars and other consulting/training for companies considering or actively engaged in the development and deployment of ATC technologies. Mr. Alvania earned an MS degree in Engineering Science from the University of California at Berkeley and a BS degree in Mathematics/Physics from the University of Pittsburgh.
